It's finally done! After starting and stopping this piece for shows & hospitialzations, it was kind of hard to pick up all the loose threads and finish the creation. It HAD to be finished, but I wonder if I had been able to do this piece without interuption (or pain meds!) what it would have looked like.

Later I may love Spirit Rocks or hate it, but at the moment the act of creation has left me numb. So I leave it in your hands! Please let me know hit or miss? Thanks!

Done in Prismacolor Pencil with just a little white gel pen for added effect on 11 x 17 acid free parchment cardstock.

I really like it :) I like that the light coming from the lamp has designs in it, rather than just being a yellow area. Is that the chicken from Chick-Filet under her feet? Hehe it's cute!

i'm going to go against the grain and say, actually, i think there is too much colour, in the clouds and stones in particular, i mean the sky by itself is drop dead gorgous, and the same can be said for the stones (by themselves) and of course the character is stunning in its self also.

but altogether i find i can't focus on anything, and i feel bombarded by colour.

all that being said i think its a stunning image, and the sky truley is one of the most beautifully drawn things i've ever seen
